Li Long tu, male, born in November 1935, from nan' an, Fujian province, professor and doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University institute of materials science and engineering, director of the academic Committee of the state key laboratory of new ceramics and fine technology, has long been engaged in teaching and research of inorganic nonmetallic materials, and is a pioneer and academic leader in the field of inorganic nonmetallic materials in our country. He was elected an academician of the Chinese academy of engineering in 1997.
This academician workstation is the seventh industrial academician workstation established in our city and the second academician workstation established in dongbao district. Up till now, our city has officially licensed 26 academician workstations.
